A family owned business since 1957, ALL of Sweeney’s delectable
bakery products are made from scratch. Three generations of Sweeney’s have
helped to continue this tradition of excellence. From the strawberry shortcake
squares to their famous one-of-a-kind- cruellers, Sweeney’s Bakery continues to
serve up some of the best bake goods in the state. In these fast-paced days of
supermarket baked items and frozen foods,Sweeney’s Bakery stands true as one
of the few independent bakeries left in the state of Delaware.
Now in addition to the bakery, enjoy Sweeney’s Ice Cream Parlor located inside
bakery. Sweeney’s is proudly serving local home made Hy-Point Dairy ice cream.
Enjoy hand-dipped or soft serve ice cream cones, Sundaes, and Milkshakes along
with many other wonderful products.

Monday Closed
* Ice Cream Parlor opens 12pm and closes same
as bakery hours except Sundays opens at 11 am.
